Adi's Room!

So Adi's room is 98 percent done...FINALLY. Just a few small details and accessories left...

Where we began..yes, that is pepto pink and glass doors--yall have enjoyed these pics before but a little reminder cant hurt.Where we are now:
Closet fun--the four colors in her bedding except now the closet is filled with CLOTHES and all sorts of fund stuff from my shower!
Pale blue (two shades lighter than closet) for the walls and wainscoting on the bottom.

Its been so much fun decorating-hope she loves it as much as we do!

Race for the Cure 2010

As most of you know, a dear friend of mine was diagnosed last year with breast cancer and a special friend of mine was recently diagnosed, and as some of you know, my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma just last week....so that scary word cancer has really hit home the last few months. So in celebration of Nicole, Lana and their recovery and in honor of my mom and the long battle she has ahead of her, Connie, D and I walked along with 26,000 others in support of this great cause. We were on Lana's team which was also 10th out of Corporate teams!!! My mom was supposed to walk with us, so Mom, when you read this, know I missed you but we will do it together next year.
And THANK YOU to CJ for the shirts!!!

Adi's First 15k

October 2, 2010--Adi's First 15k!
Connie, Mark, Maria and I ran the DRC Loop run today! Before you go questioning why Im still running, know that BOTH OF MY DRs have given approval and have said keep on running! SOOO....this was our run of the weekend with only 4 weekends left til our half marathon. (and please note I am running WAY slower than before....)

What we have been working on.....

We finally got carpet installed upstairs this Saturday....as a reminder, we have 3 bedrooms, a gameroom and a bathroom upstairs. Here are some "before" pics--EEK!!! And yes, that is a lime green room....and neon pink room....and sunflower yellow room....... it was HIDEOUS!! The carpet had stains, cig burns, and frankly was disgusting no matter how many times it had been sanitized. The upstairs was finally completely painted, ceilings scraped, bathroom floor finished, and the air ducts redone so it was time for carpet (there was a LOT of work in b/w all these things)!!

We are doing wainscoting in the nursery-hence the odd brown paint on the bottom). More baby room pics to follow. I hope to have the room finished "shortly"
